SUPERVISION

Who I work with as a supervisee:

As a clinical supervisor of 5 years, I provide clinical supervision for therapists and pre-licensed clinicians in Florida and Colorado who are pursuing LCSW or LPC licensure. I work with LPCCs, LSWs, and graduate-level interns, including those completing a master’s degree in social work or counseling.

An ideal ideal-fit supervisee for supervision is open to learning new clinical skills, taking thoughtful risks, and engaging in ongoing professional growth. My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and feedback-oriented. I strive to create a supervisory relationship where you feel supported, respected, and trusted in your clinical decision-making while working toward your licensure and long-term career goals.

You may already have an agency-based supervisor and are seeking additional clinical supervision in Florida or Colorado for growth and support. You may need a supervisor to review and sign clinical documentation, or you may be an experienced clinician looking for a reflective and supportive supervision space. Wherever you are in your professional journey, individual clinical supervision is tailored to meet your licensure requirements and clinical needs.

Specialties that I work with:

I provide clinical supervision and professional support with experience across a wide range of settings and populations, including:

  • Crisis intervention and high-acuity clinical situations

  • Child welfare systems and family-focused services

  • Work within the Department of Human Services (DHS) and other public service systems

  • Clinical work with young adults and adolescents

  • ADHD assessment, treatment, and case conceptualization

  • Experience in hospital-level care, including inpatient and higher levels of care

  • Case management and interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Navigating office dynamics, workplace stress, and organizational advocacy within mental health and human services settings

These specialties allow me to support supervisees working in complex systems, high-stress environments, and diverse clinical roles, while also helping clinicians develop confidence, clarity, and professional sustainability.

How often we meet:

Supervision typically takes place on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on your licensure requirements and professional needs.

I also offer monthly supervision for clinicians who work within an agency and already have a primary supervisor, or for those with a lighter caseload (such as fewer than five clients per week).

While I do not currently offer group supervision, I’m happy to connect you with trusted colleagues who do provide group supervision if that format better fits your needs.

My approach:

My clinical approach to supervision is direct, practical, and skill-focused. I prioritize clinical skill building and strong case conceptualization, helping supervisees develop confidence in assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making.

Supervision sessions are structured yet collaborative, with an emphasis on applying theory to real-world practice. I offer clear feedback, practical tools, and supportive guidance to help you strengthen your clinical work while meeting licensure requirements and professional goals.

Credentials for supervision:

I bring extensive experience in clinical practice, supervision, and high-acuity settings. My qualifications for providing clinical supervision include:

  • Experience supervising a bachelor’s-level clinical program

  • Completion of Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) training

  • Several years of work at a crisis center, supporting individuals in acute situations

  • Over eight years of experience in child welfare, working within complex systems and multidisciplinary teams

  • Ongoing PRN work in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric facility to maintain current, hands-on clinical skills

  • Active involvement in private practice, integrating real-world clinical and supervisory experience

This breadth of experience allows me to provide grounded, practical supervision that supports clinicians working in community agencies, hospitals, and private practice settings.
